Panels
Barrier panels are constructed of 3/8" thick solid steel, hot-rolled in a "Z" shape to maximize strength. Panels interlock together to create a solid steel wall of perimeter protection.
Ball and Socket Interlock
This extremely rugged and strong modular connection system allows for easier setting and driving during installation. The interlock also provides flexibility for swing - or rotation - of the panels to accommodate curves and contours in the barrier line.
Visibility
Border-Guard Vantage provides security personnel a clear view through the barrier while presenting potential intruders with a superior line of defense. Visibility holes are placed from ground level to six feet high (typical), allowing barrier-line views through the fence.
Two Configurations
The barrier can be installed in two different configurations, based on the threat risk. The "U" configuration provides higher vehicular resistance, while the "Sawtooth" configuration provides a lower overall cost and greater visibility.

BENEFITS
Resistant To Cutting and Climbing
The solid steel construction of Border-Guard strongly resists cutting with hand tools of any kind. Climbing is resisted by the smooth steel wall, denying hand or foot holds.
Vehicular and Under-Digging Resistance
With ten feet (standard/typical) of solid steel barrier below ground level, Border-Guard has the structural integrity to provide highly effective vehicular anti-ram/anti-crash protection. This same feature also deters and resists tunneling under the fence barrier.
Modular Design
Border-Guard allows for fast repairs, minimizing unprotected downtime. Heavy steel sections are designed as modular panels to be driven into place, and can be repaired or removed and replaced as required.
Long Service Life
The state-of-the-art metallurgy of Border-Guard has been proven to provide long-lasting protection in a wide range of applications and environments - from arid climates to marine settings.

A) ANTI-RAM: The high-strength composition and configuration of the Border-Guard provides highly effective vehicular anti-ram/anti-crash protection.
B) BLAST PROTECTION: Solid steel construction provides shielding, reducing effects of explosive blast.
C) ANTI-CUT: 3/8" steel resists breaching by saw, axe or simple torch
D) ANTI-CLIMB: Solid panel construction defends against climbing attempts
E) CONTINUOUS STEEL WALL: conducts heat, providing a signal point for any torch cutting attempts - above or below ground level
F) BARRIER LINE VISIBILITY: The Border-Guard barrier provides the capability of the front line of defense, while maintaining all the structural strength of the system
G) ANTI-TUNNEL: Depth of wall deters "under-digging"
