Deforche to Chief Operating Officer. As COO, Deforche is responsible for
operations, finance and accounting, and human resources.
“This change reflects the broad experience and business expertise of
Philip Deforche, and allows me to capitalize on my own assets of
building customer relationships and product development,” Payne said.
Deforche, who has been with the Betafence group of companies since
1995, has held the position of Sales Manager with Betafence USA since
2008. His professional background also includes industry experience in
Mexico, Latin and South America, Poland, Russia and Belgium.
“Philip’s global experience, both with organizational leadership and a
wide range of product solutions, provides a real benefit for our
company, employees and customers,” Payne said. “In his new position of
COO, Philip will be positioned to guide critical operational aspects of
the business.”
“I look forward to working with the operational team at Betafence USA
in this new capacity,” Deforche said. “I am confident in the people and
capacity of this company, and in our ability to deliver product
solutions of value to our customers.”
“As our company continues to grow, we recognize it is vital that we
maintain our industry-leading strengths of innovation and quality,”
Payne said. “It was our development of revolutionary fence solutions,
such as the Guardian Fence System® and the rackable UpGrade ornamental
system, that propelled our company’s growth, and I will now invest more
of my own energy in helping bring solutions to our customers that drive
bottom line results for their businesses.”
Payne led the company’s team in working with the U.S. Border Patrol
and the Army Corps of Engineers to develop pedestrian and vehicular
barriers for the U.S. southern border, as well as for a diverse range of
commercial and industrial security projects.
“Our company has consistently proven an expertise in providing both
systems and custom solutions for high security applications,” said
Payne. “I am excited to now be returning to a more active role in
working with our sales team on emerging opportunities in the security
market.”
Betafence USA was founded in 1994 as Payne Fence Products, joining
the Betafence group of companies in 2008. Betafence is the global leader
